The Next Dot

I once read a description of life as a dot-to-dot picture.  God puts out these dots, and we hop from one to the next without really know what the picture is until we've connected all the dots and are looking down from above.  Some dots are particularly dark, and we seem to spend an inordinate amount of time on them. Others are quick and fleeting.  Nevertheless, we move from dot to dot in the order ordained by our designer and creator.

At this point in my life, I am moving on to a new dot.  It is a scary dot and an exciting dot.  I can look back on my life and see that all the preceding events in my life have led to this particular moment, and I feel a sense of awe and wonder at this fact.

The truth is, I sometimes feel like my life is out of control...just a series of random craziness that forms a discombobulated wasteland of chaos.  Then something like this happens, and I know He's been in control all along.  

I want to share this new dot with others, so folks can see just how great that Creator and Designer is.
